of Brigadier and international assignments with the United Nations

With professional experience spanning over two decades, Mr Salman
is an adaptable, conscientious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
individual with a wide ranged exposure in Pakistan’s power sector –
IPPs (including experience of two major power policies), energy and
natural resources (ENI sector), renewable energy (RE sector)
and professional services sector. He has been trained at one of the Big Four Professional
Servies Firm – KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co (a member firm of KPMG Intl) and perseveres to
achieve results and possesses excellent communication skills combined with the ability
to relate well to people at all levels.
At present, he is managing a portfolio of three companies of Fauji Group namely
Foundation Power Company Daharki Limited (FPCDL – a 180 MW CCPP), Fauji
Kabirwala Power Company Limited (FKPCL – a 157 MW CCPP) and Foundation Solar
Energy Pvt Limited (FSEL – Solar Energy company) as Group Chief Financial Officer and
serving as a Board Member on the Board of Management of Fongas (Fauji Group flagship
project in energy – LPG sector).
He holds professional memberships of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and
Wales (ICAEW), Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA-UK) and Institute of
Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan (ICPAP) and is a member in good standing.

His core competencies span administrative leadership with comprehensive knowledge of human resource management, successful execution of Security Operations in collaboration with Law Enforcement Agencies, Intelligence operations through interaction with various intelligence agencies, and Excellence in Financial Management across organizations of various capacities.
He further brings expertise in handling Land matters including acquisition and litigation, efficient handling of Commercial Projects with special focus on Contracting, Legal Expertise through handling multi-dimensional litigation cases, and effective communication and liaison with Officials of various Government Departments and Ministries.
